Samsung SyncMaster 900IFT
As with the SyncMaster range of monitors from Samsung, the 900IFT supports resolutions up to 1600x1200. Access to screen and image controls is through an intuitive OSD, accessed though a retractable panel. This features easily navigable buttons for adjusting screen parameters such as horizontal and vertical size and position, pincushioning, pinbalancing, convergence, moirΘ correction and colour temperature. However, there is no support for convergence and upper/lower edge correction. There were no noticeable anomalies in the convergence and the screen geometry test. A stable display was also seen in the signal on/off switching test where the raster was rock-solid. With very advanced screen controls, an intuitive OSD and support for high resolutions, this is a very good monitor for professional applications like intensive publishing and multimedia.
